The TSMF team has just recently released a Joomla version of Simpleboard. JoomlaBoard 1.1 is identical to Simpleboard 1.1. The only difference is that it has been made Joomla ready. JoomlaBoard can NOT be used on any Mambo installation. Simpleboard will only run on Mambo up until version 4.5.2.3 and will not be supported on higher version.

The TSMF team will still continue support for SimpleBoard alongside with JoomlaBoard until the next version of JoomlaBoard is out. Therefore, this is another bad news for Mambo. Remember TFSforMambo on the previous news? They are now TFSforJoomla and they are also withdrawing support for Mambo. It looks like the Mambo beat is fading slowly.

bad move by Miro folks... : johnny

I've been to MamboServer and I say they made things complicated with all those memberships and fees. Obviously, they don't know anything about how a community and open source works. One of the great things about community is it's free... and you'll charge us $10 for just being a member of the community or so called Foundation???. Bad move!
