Mambo CMS NewsSMF ForumeMambo SMF 1.3.1.3 is compatible with the latest security update for SMF. To upgrade, please uninstall SMFMambo Mod before installing the SMF update. Then reinstall the SMFMambo Mod.

works as you've wrote - upgrade SMF from 1.0.3 to 1.0.5 and SMFForum to 1.3.1b went without problems...
