Components Lab released a new version of their helpdesk component for Joomla! 1.5 - MaQma Helpdesk Component.

Together with this new release is also a FREE EDITION of the component available, check here for more information.

Release changes:

  • Create read-only or hidden custom fields tickets for client user .
  • New option accepts ticket custom field edit at creation time only.
  • New feature Custom users can’t edit closed ticket anymore (re-open). Edit closed ticket only authorized by support staff.
  • Protect double ticket creation submition.
  • Remove task list from client user template.
  • Show item numbers in attachments, task(support only) and notes tabs.

  • New Status Report feature

  • Full ticket log for better ticket report.
  • New work schedule, holidays and Support User vacation system to allow new due date ticket calculation (based on Support User available time)

  • New SLA Escalation triggers: status and assign conditions for new rules creation.
  • New database clean up check parameters to fix broken tickets.
  • New option to restrict Support Users to supported workgroups
  • New option restrict assign user screen identification to regular users
  • New option restrict regular users to change ticket status
  • New status workflow rules feature.
  • New option restrict status change by regular users.
  • New option Additional notification assignment to other selected users.
  • New Keep Search Profile allow to save last filter options in Ticket Manager
  • New Old Status display in Administration Ticket Manager
  • New PDF layout
  • New option allow to ticket vote only after the state is closed.
  • New after creation ticket report allow to access ticket.
  • Support Staff can add BC and BCC mail notification at ticket, task and reply action feature.
