jReviews is a directory:review:rating script that integrates with Joomla's content system. It is extremely flexible and highly configurable.

Just a few weeks after the impressive release of 1.1.4, which was packed with new features, we are happy to announce 1.2 Release Candidate 1 (RC1). We have added new features and fixed most, if not all of the bugs reported in 1.1.4

The new features are:

Weighted ratings: the administrator can assign weights to each of the rating criteria to show an average weighted rating instead of the regular average. We have added a one-click button to convert all of your existing reviews to weighted averages if you decide to take advantage of this feature.
Custom fields ACL: using Joomla's access groups you can now specify which groups have access to individual custom fields for submission and editing.
Image upload resizing:it's now possible to specify a maximum pixel width for uploaded images, to avoid having images that are too large when viewed with the lightbox.
Add more images: it's now possible to add more images in edit mode. Decide who has access to content editing in the backend, and they'll be able to add more images.
