Free Template Design Guide Released

Compass design continues its mission of producing free quality Joomla tutorials and guides with the publication of the Joomla Template Design Tutorial. This tutorial develops a tableless CSS driven Joomla template that validates to W3C standards.

This free 54 page guide leads you through the steps of creating two templates for Joomla. The first is a tutorial template that helps you become familiar with using the CSS. The second reveals the secrets of source ordering for SEO and goes over the complete list of default Joomla CSS styles. Also included are design tips and tricks such as rounded box corners, linkable logos, fluid layouts and text resizer buttons.
