Calculating CPC (Cost per Click)
CPM ($)=Cost per 1,000 impressions
CTR (%)=Clickthrough Rate
CPC ($)=Cost per Click
CPC = CPM / (CTR * 1000)
If you get a CTR of 1.00%, that is 10 clicks per 1,000 impressions or $0.02 cents per click for $0.20 CPM. Design a nice banner if you want to get a higher CTR that will lower your CPC.
