Google AnalyticsI'm really impressed with this new tool from Google. Google Analytics had some problems initially due to high demand. So Google temporarily stopped accepting at 234,725 accounts. Also they removed the "Add New Profile" link. If I just knew, I should have added all my websites. But with the problem gone, i'm just loving this tool!

Here's Google response about the recent issue:

"Google Analytics has experienced extremely strong demand, and as a result, we have temporarily limited the number of new signups as we increase capacity. In the meantime, please submit your name and email address and we will notify you as soon as we are ready to add new accounts. Thank you for your patience."

Here are the list of menu links on Google Analytics:

new accounts? : Guest
any ideas on when will Google accept new accounts?

I love it too, : marlyred
apart from not being able to track individual visitors and bots. This I think is a major drawback as I like to know exactly what search engines are spidering my site and I also like to see individual visitors so I can block one if they look like they are up to no good. :grin

Have you read the User Agreement?.. that is where I cancelled the signup process and sent them this (as I also have an adwords account and wouldn't want money to start dissapearing from there) :

To whom it may concern,

In your Google Analytics User Agreement you state that:

"Google may change its fees and payment policies for the Service from time to time including but not limited to the addition of costs for geographic data, the importing of cost data from search engines, or other fees charged to Google or its wholly-owned subsidiaries by 3rd party vendors for the inclusion of data in the Service reports. The changes to the fees or payment policies are effective upon Your acceptance of such changes which will be posted at www.google.com/analytics (or such other URL Google may provide from time to time). Unless otherwise stated, all fees are quoted in U.S. Dollars. Any outstanding balance becomes immediately due and payable upon termination of this Agreement for any reason and any collection expenses (including attorneys' fees) incurred by Google will be included in the amount owed, and may be charged to the credit card or other billing mechanism associated with your Adwords account."

So "which will be posted at www.google.com/analytics" means that I will not be notified by email of any such changes and I will not be able to select if I agree with any such changes before I can be charged by Google?

Regards,
Vladimir

you can't edit comments images/wink.gif sorry...

anyway, I did not read the user agreement. If they charge me in the future, I just got to go with something else. But it depends, if the price is right, then i'll probably just pay them.
