If you are planning to develop Joomla extensions, I would strongly suggest that you familiarize yourself first with the published Joomla Framework . This will make your code clean and clear, with less or zero bug. What contributes to code that sucks are code that was based on existing codes that also suck. And i'm going to be honest, that's what I did with the early version of Joomla-SMF component. It was based on a component that don't even follow the framework. But, we are planning to clean it up.

At least, this is what the Google Trend history shows. The line is going down for Mambo and Joomla, on its way up, crossed the line during the first quarter of 2006. This is just one way of of witnessing some kind of disaster. Just like a CEO looking at his company's stock plunging down. Not to mention that "mambo" is not just for mambo CMS. A good portion of it is meant for the actual dance.

Just a couple of months ago, I was intrigued by this V7ndotcom Elursrebmem SEO competition. The goal is simple, rank #1 in Google search result for V7ndotcom Elursrebmem keyword phrase by May 15. So I did put up a simple page for this competition. I checked my ranking once and I was dissapointed with the result and forgot totally about it. I was ranked 100+ then.
But to my surprise, I just checked it now. The page I created is ranked #4! It looks like i'm gonna win $100 (hahaha) bucks if this rank stays through May 15.
But, if you want me to win the 1st prize. There might be enough time for you to link my page so I'll win the top prize. Thank you for supporting MamboHacks.com and JoomlaHacks.com.
My page: V7ndotcom Elursrebmem Contest Information.

I'm really impressed with this new tool from Google. Google Analytics had some problems initially due to high demand. So Google temporarily stopped accepting at 234,725 accounts. Also they removed the "Add New Profile" link. If I just knew, I should have added all my websites. But with the problem gone, i'm just loving this tool!
