For the past few months, JoomlaHacks.com has been branded by Google to be potentially harmful. It was marked to be distributing malware which of course not true. And I found the culprit!

 We are pleased to present our latest Joomla Component - DJ-Classifieds. There are very few such free extensions so we are hoping for a lot of interest. The component is written natively for Joomla 1.5 MVC model so it’s easy for visual adaptation. Good advertising portal for CMS Joomla was still a problem, but we're sure that with our extension it will be easier to implement such services.

 The native MVC Joomla 1.5 component provides an easy voting system, requiring only a single click action for a speedy process. The component can be used to rate different images like landscapes, art, etc. or if the genre mode is enabled, more particular for male and female images. The upload is very easy, allowing also multiple upload. For each picture a sharelink and the number of hits will be visible and if admin enabled the description, comments and tags. To allow the administrator content control on the site, each picture and comment can be reported.

As some of you might have noticed, JoomlaHacks.com has been going through some major changes. JoomlaHacks.com is not dead. I was just overwhelmed with all the priorities I need to work on first.  George has prepared a tutorial on how to install Joomla over Ubuntu on a clean box. If you have an old pc in the closet, follow the tutorial and you will soon have a Linux server up and running. Also, feel free to ask anything related in the forum.

I've made some changes on the Commercial and Free Joomla Template Gallery and put some Ajax flavor in it. Anyone can submit their own commercial or free Joomla templates.
