Merge database info
« on: November 23, 2005, 11:48:52 AM »

I tried this on my existing database. I had SMF installed before joomla and already had database for SMF. After installing the bridge i needed both databases using the joomla database of course. On my server c-panel i have phpmyadmin. I opened it and used the copy funtion to copy the smf database over to joomla database. This copies tables and data, but doesnt overwrite the joomla tables. Worked perfectly for me, i do recommend testing on a 3rd database first just to make sure yours works the same. Just passing the info on to help others, hope it helps.
