connectin MAMBO to SMF

Hello,

I have installed Mambo 4.5 on a server, and asked them to install the latest SMF bulletin board.

All is installed, and I have created a website. My problem is as follows: When a new user REGISTERS into the Mambo website, and I then open the Forum (SMF software) the registration does not seem to follow as it does for instance in this joomlahacks site. I used a Mambo template, rearranged a few things, and installed SMF per the instructions on this site...

What do I need to do so that the registration carries through? Can somebody help me???
