SMF & Mambo (adress)
« on: October 25, 2005, 04:53:47 PM »

Is it possible to integrate my SMF forum & Mambo if mambo-site is situated on: http://xxxxxx.com/ and forum on http://forum.xxxxxx.com/ ?

Should I move my forum to the folder forum (http://xxxxxx.com/forum/)? If yes – I must change some values only in file Settings.php? May be somewhere else too?

Did you apply the patches to Mambo and SMF index.php?

Did you have any login issues before patching the index-files? Is there a writable temp-directory (named tmp) on your webserver?

Your forum.yoursite.com
is also pointing to www.yoursite.com/forum
So all you need to do is just change the configuration in SMF and point it to the sub-directory instead of the sub-domain.

There's no point for forum.yoursite.com anymore when you use the brdige.
