Who's Online not showing any users

My apologies if this has been covered, as I can't seem to find any posts related to this particular problem.

I have transfered an old MamboV4.5.2.3 site to Joomla 1.03 due to an issue I had. (read: Admin brain fart) I was able to import the database into Joomla and everything works with the exception of any Who's Online module. Only guests show and I'm thinking it has something to do with my ignorance.

I prefer the module from Joomlahacks and started with that one. When I tried others though, they all exhibited the same issue: no registered users showing.

I know this isn't a mambo/joomlahacks issue, but just looking for some suggestions on how I might resolve this.

The problem is a bug that was introduced into Joomla version 1.0.3. The fix for it is explained in this Joomla forum thread: http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic,12492.0.html
