Login problems

Just installed SMF 1.1RC1, Joomla 1.0.3 and SMF-Joomla 1.0.1b.

I use the SMF login module but I cannot login using that login box! However, if I log in from the forum, I'm automatically set as logged in if I look in the SMF login module box. Any ideas och hints?

EDIT: When I log in the login box appears empty but the User menu appears, with options such as log out. However, nothing happens when I try to logout. When I delete all cookies I get entirely logged out.

this kind of issue is common here and i really don't know how to help you because you're not providing enough information.
