log in problem

sorry if this is all wrong but don't understand much about this!

One of our users has said she can't log in - she logs in ok on the front page but when she navigates to the forum she's logged out. She uses aol and I've told her to clear her cookies (don't know if this is right or not?!).

In the forum error log we're getting a few of these..........

8: Undefined index: hash_passwrd
File: /home/masyomo/public_html/board/Sources/LogInOut.php
Line: 371

Don't know if the 2 are related or not but thought I'd post here in case they are?

I'm getting this as well (been seeing this for a while now), but not sure exactly WHY...

I'm using Joomla 1.0.2, SMF 1.1 RC1, Bridge-component 1.0.1b

i'm also getting that here. But that's not an issue. That's not related to the issue here. Can you please verify that the installation checklist is completed.

for me, the only thing that was "wrong" in the checklist is

Joomla main path (/home/domains/public_html) was not writeable.

Hi - yep everythings installed correctly - somebody else using aol said that they have the same problem but if they keep trying it lets them in eventually. Another member also said that they have the same problem using Internet Explorer so might not be just an aol issue.

I'm using most recent versions of SMF, Joomla and the bridge

Hi,
I can't login with IE internet explorer, with firefox all works smoothly

-I use mambo registration because if I use CB I get redirection problem and can't access to the register member form

-wrapped

PHP version: 4.3.11
Joomla 1.0.3 stable
SMF version: smf_1-1-rc1
bridge: JoomlaSMFForum_1.0.1b
on the same mysql table

BUT CAN LOGIN ON THIS SITE WITH EXPLORER
I've tested on my site through 2 computers (and doesn't work)

I can login just fine both on IE and Firefox. Check your browser's cookie settings.

thanks for your reply,
I came on the forum to write that now is working and saw your reply,
so I erased the cookies and put on debug site and it worked,
the weird thing is that I previously deleted cookies few times and it didn t work but now all is fine Cheesy
