Sync Users Gives Strange Error

1. Platform (e.g. IIS, Apache): Apache version 1.3.33
2. PHP version: 4.4.0
3. Joomla / Mambo version: 4.5.2
4. SMF version: SMF 1.1 RC1
5. Issue description:I am having 2 issues actually (which may be dependent on each other)

1) When I tell it to sync the users for both mambo and smf it gives me this error:
Syncing username testing Failed! mosuser::store failed Unknown column \\\'activation\\\' in \\\'field list\\\' SQL=INSERT INTO mos_users ( `id`,`name`,`username`,`email`,`password`,`usertype`,`block`,`gid`,`registerDate`,`activation` ) VALUES ( \\\'0\\\',\\\'testing\\\',\\\'testing\\\',\\\'testing@testing.com\\\',\\\'858058aa927cb6d9b38dbb0b8340784e\\\',\\\'Registered\\\',\\\'0\\\',\\\'18\\\',\\\'2005-10-09 13:27:30\\\',\\\'\\\' )

2) When I click register, and fill out the info, and then click submit I get this in a new pop up with a yellow triangle with an "!" inside it. (Using mambos registration):mosuser::store failed <br/>Unknown column 'activation' in 'field list' SQL=INSERT INTO mos_user('id','name'username','email','password','usertype','block','gid','registerDate','activation') VALUES('0','test','test','test@test.com',<Encrypted password I would guess>, ",'1','18','2005-10-09 13:46:27','b32b291bc66bd121d162a2029f996b14,)

In an attempt to solve number 2, I have tried switching the resister method to SMF but that only registers them for the forums, and not the site. I have also tried using the "Joomla-SMF Login Module", but with no luck for that either.

Edit: Even after uninstalling the Component/Module I am still getting this error! Please help! (Note: I would like to reinstall this, I am just give this info to let you know)
