use don't show intro under parameters and then keep your intro as normal and repaste the whole aricle in the main body. Not elegant but best you can do.

Any luck on integrating with MosCE??
Sorry not sure what you mean I set my article to HIDE Intro Text, but on the frontpage it still shows as if nothing has changed...
Besides, wouldn't this just show the ENTIRE article on the frontpage? (i still want the intro text!)
I don't use MosCE, is it better than TinyMCE (that comes with Joomla). You may want to try searching SMF forums...
No you keep you intro the way it is. but under your parameters you leave it as hide intro. and then you paste the full article in the body text (ie not intro) then put the comment at the bottom.

Orstio gave me this solution to the problem but it seems that something is different in your bridge. If you have time, please take a look:

Instead of doing that, put in a board name in the default discussion param.
Put in the bot code, only at the end of the article.
Make sure you start the topic immediately after you create the article.
This will cause the bot to see that a default board is defined, so it initializes the bot. The bot then checks to see if there is already a topic, and finds the one you started.
I tried everything but i canīt get the bot to work. It is published, i see the link on my page, there is a default board in the configuration (if i remove this i get the hint) ... Maybe a PHP or a security issue?? Any suggestions?
i have a weird problem. Every time i click the link, it starts a new thread under the same topic all over and over again. The number of comments under the news article always remain at 0.

ok, i just deleted and reinstalled the mambot, and it works for only 1 post. subsequently, when i click on the mambot link, it opens a 404 page with the url www.mysite.com/topic=15.new
i supposed 15 is the number of times new discussions have been made, but i dont know what to make of it all...
Also, i realise that the mambot includes [P][/P] when quoting from the article. [P] doesnt exist in smf right? cus it keeps showing in the quote in the discussion thread, and is rather unsightly

i realise this problem (of discussion threads not registering with the mambot, thus the total number of posts remains at 0 and everytime you click the link, it starts a new thread of the same topic) happens everytime i try to edit the parameters of the discussionbot, and the only way (at least the way i see it), is to reinstall the mambot.
i'm using smf 1.1 rc1 and joomla 1.0.2
