Ok uninstalled 1.0.1b and reinstalled 1.0.1 - all OK.  Seems absolutely fine!

I am running Joomla 1.0.2 and SMF 1.1 rc1

This does seem to be a cookies issue perhaps.

Yes my site is hosted on Windows therefore IIS.  Thats a worry as SMF is supported under IIS, how come the bridge isn't?

I shall stick with 1.0.1 and look a moving to a Windows friendly bridge (if one exists), a shame cos you will lose a lot of users by not supporting Windows...

I can report that 1.0.1 seems stable with Joomla 1.0.2 and SMF 1.1 RC1.  I appreciate that the bridge is exactly that, stuck in the middle but it would be great to have a version that works in my setup...

I am being careful here - this is a simple question.  Does your script at any point use "MAMBOHACKS"?

My super administrator had now twice been disabled as its password has been set to "MAMBOHACKS".

This might not have anything to do you -- please advise...
