1.0.1Module Issues
« on: October 03, 2005, 04:46:53 AM »

This is an old problem (was also in previous module and was reported) but I have discovered that if I have the SMF-login module published ABOVE the polls nodule the polls module wont display (apart from displaying the start of the  module). If I place the smf-login module BELOW the poll everything displays fine.

I have reported this as a bug in 1.0.1 and Lewis thought he'd fixed it but it seem not that it is a Joomla-SMF login module problem.  Can anyone else confirm this? I'm using the Macphoria theme.

Cowboy I hope you can fix the module.

Problems solved I didnt have the poll linked to the menu items.  Simply clicked all and now it appears.

hey, was just wondering about this too. have the same problem, but enabling the poll to display on all menus doesn't solve the problem.  it only displays "POLLS" , and nothing else, if it's below the smf_login module.

I'm getting a blank Polls section even when it's under the SMF login module.  I put it on the right side immediately under the SMF login module.  Specifically, under what circumstance using the newest SMF login module are you able to see the content of the Polls module on the same page?

Yup that is as I described. For me, only when the module is at the VERY top, will the poll display...

Actually, I am finding that my POLLS module is only displaying on the frontpage: www.kaitech.hk

Try clicking along the top, tech, about, etc.  Only the POLL title shows

Somehow i've got a strange mainmenu link for Forum - http://www.eulaw.ru/undefined&Itemid=18

Links in Recent Topics module are working, so you can access forum via them.

The other problem is - the only one type if registration works: SMF, other 2: CB and standard: Joomla says that there is no permission for user to access this page.

It doesn't matter is CD Login module published or unpublished. But when i published CD Login concurrently with J-SMF Login i discovered the link to registration is different a little bit
This is JSMF Login link to regeistration: http://www.eulaw.ru/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&Itemid=6&task=registers
This is CD Login link to registration: http://www.eulaw.ru/component/option,com_comprofiler/task,registers/

So some itemid 6...

I will switch site to english for some time, so you could see it.

Thanks.

..... UPD: i just reinstalled the component. Now it seems to be ok.

UPD2: I didn't discovered a reason of component, being 'undefined'. I reinstalled (uninstalled it and installed) it 3-4 times, but after some clicks with login the component make itself 'undefined&Itemid=xx'.

Some thoughts?
Thanks in advance

OK, I did it. I found the reason.

When you move "Forum component" mainmenu item from initial position to last position it makes link 'undefined'.

Am i Alone with this bug ?
