Trying integration again....
« on: March 31, 2005, 11:41:11 AM »

Ok guys...

Great site!  spending too much work time exploring it right now...lol

Ok, i unsuccessfully tried the mambo-smf bridge (original) and then unsuccessfullly tried the mambohack version.  Following everything to a T.  so i have no clue what is going wrong.

Anyways, I'm ready to have a go at it again, but was wondering if it is best to  upgrade to smf 1.03 before or after I try the the mambohacks bridge?

I have both mambo 4.52 and smf 1.02 (bridged with coppermine) all working fine now, but just need to bridge mambo and smf.

Any advice?  I'm gonna try this again on a test server that doesn't have the smf coppermine bridge first.  If all goes well, i'll try the real server.

Thanks!

If you are planning to install Mambo-SMF 1.2.0, you don't need to bother installing the original bridge. Just follow the text on the Mamb-SMF admin.

And remember, Mambo and SMF must be on the same database.
