Hoping someone can help.

I'm on my third try of installing the bridge to work with Joomla 1.0.15, SMF 1.1.5, and I also installed Community Builder. Everything seems to be dong ok until I click on "Click to Patch" in front of "Patch Joomla Source Files." then I get the following "Failed: Permission problem, unable to open file: /home///////domains///////.org/public_html/alumni/index.php"

 Huh?
