Can't install CB Plugin

When trying to install the CB Plugin I get a bunch of errors.

Looks like it you are installing on Joomla 1.5. That won't work anyway...

Yes you can install CB in Joomla 1.5.

I did.

Unfortunaly for your sake I'm no expert at Joomla. I have only worked with it for 3 weeks. However I have already made 4 websites. That is why I love it.

There are a few reasons I can think of:

1. First things first: have you made sure Legacy Mode is turned on?
2. that all the directory permissions are the way they should be (you can always try to give every folder "read & write". Just to make sure this isn't the problem..)
3. I guess you're running a virtual server locally? What program are you using? I use Mac OS X together with MAMP. I have found out that when using PHP 5 I am unable to install modules and components.. so now I am running PHP 4 in MAMP instead.

What makes working with Joomla! a challenge is the same thing that makes it fun. Every problem can be caused by 50 different reasons, but also solved in just as many ways..

And if all else fails. Just re-install Joomla! and take one step at the time till you run in to trouble. At least then you know where the problems start..
