Please Describe the Issue:

it seems that passwords are not being synced with the SMF, is there something i can do to fix this? if the users retrive their passwords via email, everything works fine, becuse it resets their password.

You need JSMF 2.0.2.1 to get SMF working with Joomla 1.0.15. See my signature for the download. Good luck.
