Fatal error with JSMF 2.0
« on: May 07, 2008, 07:17:56 AM »

Hi,

I'm trying to integrate SMF 1.1.5 with Mambo 1.5.3 and JSMF_2_0_RC2.

I get the following Fatal error when going to the forum component from mambo, ie URL = http://localhost/mambo/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=45

Fatal error: main() [<a href='function.main'>function.main</a>]: The script tried to execute a method or access a property of an incomplete object. Please ensure that the class definition &quot;jsmfFrontend&quot; of the object you are trying to operate on was loaded _before_ unserialize() gets called or provide a __autoload() function to load the class definition in C:\xampp\htdocs\mambo\components\com_smf\smf.php on line 100

Any ideas how to solve this?

The install guide states that Joomla/Mambo index.php file needs to be patched with an appropriate index.php from the JSMF_2_0_RC2 zip.  However, there's no index.php patch file for Mambo 1.5.3.

Where can I get this patch?

Thanks in advance,

DV

This bridge is not working with Mambo Wink
The real Mambo Bridge can be found here
http://www.simplemachines.org/download/?bridges

Tip: upgrade your Mambo version

Thanks for your response Superdaantjie,

Already checked on simplemachines.org - couldn't find a bridge for Mambo 4.5.3. I guess that leaves me no other choice but to upgrade Mambo to 4.6.x

Thanks again,

DV
