I'm having trouble staying logged in between Joomla and SMF. What happens is that I log in to CB Login, and everything seems to be ok. I can publish blogs, go into administrator, and everything. But when I go to my SMF install, I'm logged out. Is there a way that once I login to Joomla I can also be logged into SMF?
Also, when I try to manually login to SMF, it redirects me to the Joomla index, and I'm logged out of both Joomla and SMF. I disabled both redirect options in the Joomla-SMF config page and made sure that the redirect fields in the login modules were clear. The only thing I haven't tried is physically removing any of the old login modules.
Note: I tried installing and publishing Joomla-SMF login module, and it won't even let me log in to Joomla, it just refreshes the page.
I've even tried reinstalling CB and Joomla-SMF, and both times I followed the user-guide installation instructions.
Here's my version info (except for upgrading Joomla to 1.5, I think I have all the newest stuff). Joomla = 1.0.13, SMF = 1.1.4, Joomla-SMF = 2.0.2, CB and CB Login = 1.1, Joomla-SMF Login = 2.0.4
Maybe you will find an Sollution on http://joomlabridge.org. This is the site off one off the old Support members of Joomlahacks. I found my sollutions over there
Here are my very extensive symptoms. I don't know anything about code. I have just integrated this so the only members in the Joomla side are my own usernames each diferent access levels.
Logging into the smf directly is fine. Logging into CB login if already a listed user of Joomla fine
New or old members of forum:
CB Login = invalid username or password
Joomla Original Login = A) template parse error this synchronizes the name though into Joomla B) Once synchronized it just refreshes the page when logging in.
JSMF(Joomla-SMF) login module = A) template parse error this synchronizes the name though into Joomla B) Once synchronized it just refreshes the page when logging in.
So the steps for my new or existing forum members at the moment are this: 1)Log into either Joomla or Joomla smf 2)After the parse error enter the URL to Joomla. 3)Then use the CB login to complete the process.

I would appreciate anyhelp I can get, Thanks.
Do you also have the cb_smf plugin? That's what logs you into both Joomla & SMF. It seems what you're asking is mor basic than the problems JAson is having?
I have the same problem and tried installing the cb_plugin_smf_2_0_1 and got the following error
