Joomap Plugin Leading Whitespace Error

Ok, sorry for the question... but I'm setting up Joomap for my site...

I've made the changes to Joomap 2.05 as suggested in the user guide, and it does not fix the problem.

Joomap works fine until I add the smf.plugin.php 2.0 from this site.

For some reason when installing smf.plugin.php it adds a leading whitespace to the output for Google Sitemap.  When the plugin is removed the leading whitespace goes away.

Any ideas?
