remove joomla header from smf wrapper?
« on: March 03, 2008, 05:29:22 PM »

how do I stop the joomla header from being inserted into the SMF header? I dont need it there when I have it on the page already. pluss it gets in the way of some of the SMF stuff. if I goto mysite/forum everything displays just fine and I dont get my joomla header inserted in.

I'm currently running
Joomla version 1.0.15
SMF version 1.1.4
Joomla-SMF version 2.0.2

any help would be much appreciated

Your are thinking the wrong way; Joomla is wrapped around SMF and not the other way around. You can remove the SMF header by editing your SMF template.

any idea what I'm supposed to edit in the SMF template? I found stuff relating to the header but its just the stuff that is covered by the header and that is what I'm trying to keep. I wanna keep that whole login thing and avatar part but get rid of the header. I'm relatively new to SMF so I haven't really played around with the code a whole lot

Did you already try the unwrapped mode in JSMF?

Maybe you're helped with this:
