after restoring a backedup database everything seems to stop working

hi community ...i searched the forum for sulotion but couldnt find 1
i have joomla 1.0.13 and the latest jsmf bridge
the bridge stoped its job when i did restore my database today
the smf database table prefix is `aukstude_joom2`.smf_  instead of smf_
i cant log out, post messages or even save new settings
on the other hand, smf is working like a charm on stand alone mode
so please what should i do

Unpatch the bridge and repatch the bridge agan.

thanks .. i tried doing that with no sucess ... im worried now  about the way i should back up my files ... joomla has an issue with phpmyadmin according to joomla security check list .. so im using the back up feature that my host company provide and it seems good .. but i dont know why its not working with the bridge
please help

I have a close to problem for several months, never solved, and I have also repaird smf by using repair_settings.php tried that by the way?

I do think there is somewhere in the database where you have to change a setting, because if it starts to work like this, you can not reinstall the bridge, it does not remove everything.

I will also try the new forum
