parse error with joomla-smf bridge

Hi

I am getting this error when I click on configure the SMF bridge component:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ';' in /home/ce5956/public_html/administrator/components/com_smf/config.smf.php on line 4

I originally installed SMF into a seperate database. I then installed the bridge. I clicked on configuration and of course it failed.
I then uninstalled SMF and deleted the SMF database. I also uninstalled the bridge component.

I then reinstalled SMF using the exisiting joomla database and re-installed the bridge component. The installation states that it was successfull.

However, when I click on components- joomla-smf forum-configuration, I get the msg posted above..the parse error.

I have no idea what i can do to fix this.

As a note, when I uninstalled the component from the admin panel, I also used FTP to delete the com-smf folder as well to make sure no lft over files were there.

I'm using Joomla 1.0.13 -- SMF 1.1.4 -- com_joomla_smf_forum_1.0.2a.zip
