Requesting template advice regarding headers

Hello and Happy New Year to all.

I am working on a few different sites that use Joomla and would like to know if anyone knows of any free templates that may fit one of my needs. This site in question is called www.Live2Golf.com and will be populated with golf related items. My challenge has been in finding a template that has the golf look or, preferrably, has a header image that can be changed to create the golf look. I have downloaded several templates that I thought could work, but found that the image across the header was broken up into several pieces. I am not sure why this is done, aside from making it very difficult to add a full-width image across the top of the page.

Joomla is new to me and I am enjoying learning about its different features. These lessons are learned by hunting around the file structure and seeing what makes up the template. Other sites I have worked with have had headers that I cold change by making the image what I wanted with little manipulation, but these seem like they would require an image editor profesional to do what I needed done.

Sorry about the verbous comments that are likely repetitive. Do any of you know of any templates that might fit what I want better? Maybe even a source of free templates that I could look over that don't use the one-image-broken-into-several approach that I have seen recently.

Please don't go through much effort to find these, but if you know of any, I would appreciate your help. I have wasted a lot of time already.
