[SOLVED] unpatched Joomla files, now can't login to admin

I'm having a really hard time getting this bridge to work on an existing forum.  I tried to unptach the Joomla files, but after I clicked it I was logged out immediately and now I can't login - it just takes me to same login page over and over?

ok, i logged into frontend and then got into backend - weird
