Smf error message are gone

Hi,
When viewing smf through the joomla bridge the user error messages are not displayed (they do appear if i go directly to smf).
These are error such as: wrong password, registration errors etc...
this makes operating very difficult as users do not know what they did wrong.

Any way to solve this ?
