2 Questions about Mambo-SMF Integration v1.0 by Theodore Hildebrandt.
« on: July 01, 2005, 01:29:18 AM »

First off, discovered a bug last night. 2 people signed up and all thier info was stored to the database correctly, yet they could not log in via the login form on the page. So I did some checking and found out that if 2 users have the same "name" not "username" (e.g 2. users input the name Jack) they cannot log into mambo. Now I have a seperate script that goes off the mambo user database (mos_users) and since all the information is added there, the other scripts I have on the site available to subscribers work. How would I go about fixing this? I use Mambo 5.4.2, SMF 1.3, and the Mambo-SMF Integration v1.0 by Theodore Hildebrandt. Oh and when I goto the mambo admin panel and click on Mambo SMF Bridge in the components section to configure it, it says the configuration is NOT WRITABLE.. how do I fix this?

Now second question, could I upgrade to newest mambosmf bridge without any problems even though I currently have this one?

Will this interfere with my Mambo user database?
