Installation Error

Joomla: 1.0.13
SMF: 1.1.3
Joomla-SMF Forum Integration Version: com_smf_2_0_2
PHP:4.4.7
Apache

Using Joomla registration.  Both the SMF and Joomla tables are in the same database; however on the install tab I get:


SMF Table Prefix:  smf_   
(incorrect prefix)
not installed    SMF Forum installed on the same database as Joomla.
click to patch    Patch Joomla Source Files.
click to patch    Patch SMF Source Files (Note: Unpatch before upgrading SMF or installing mod.)
done [verify]    Optional: Synchronize Joomla and SMF users(username or real name).

When I click on the verify to sync users I get the error:
Failed:Error verifying user synchronization.: db_error:Table \\\'reactive_skills.smf_members\\\' doesn\\\'t exist SQL=SELECT count(*) FROM smf_members LEFT JOIN jos_users ON jos_users.username=smf_members.memberName WHERE jos_users.username IS NULL1

What should I do?  Thanks.

When I click to patch Joomla source files:


Failed: Code to be patched not found in file: require_once( 'includes/frontend.php' );/home/reactive/domains/domain.net/public_html/sc/index.php

?

I uninstalled and reinstalled the component and nothing has changed.
