SMF and CB communication
« on: September 06, 2007, 07:26:06 PM »

Hi I am new here, I read the manual, I was able to install successfully both SMF 1.1.3 and also CB. I have also the SMF-Joomla Component including CB-SMF login plugin. All fine, all working but one!
I need to login separately in Joomla (CB) and it doesn't recognize in SMF, i.e. you can't login with same ID in SMF.
The member list is different, but when registering new ID from SMF it uses CB which is great. Also when in SMF using My profile it redirects to CB also great. Just the login is bothering me a lot
I read 100s of posts already, but I can't find it. Can somebody redirect me to that posts where it was discussed already or suggest an easy solution. ( I hope it's easy becasue I am CSS and PHP dummy, I can only copy and paste codes in and out ;-)

Alex

many many thanks

PS if you would like know the specific problem go to my site still in development www.miriamaerobics.com -> forum -> home

test login in CB is
user iD : James
password : testing

PS2 : anybody can change the font in the forum template, the light blue looks really bad, but this is causing due to template wrap up, it uses the transparent color for font which I cannot change as in the front page some of the light blue fonts would disappear.
