Joomla-SMF Forum Configuration problem
« on: September 03, 2007, 03:53:15 PM »

Hi!

joomla     - 1.0.13 (Colormatic Rocket template)
SMF        - 1.1 RC3
joomla-Smf - 2.0 RC3
Not wrepped.

I installed everything from scratch.
Then copyed datebase from my old forum to new one.

I would like my users to login at joomla front page only.
And who is loged could use a forum.

Spent couple of days (i am newbye) to adjust joomla-SMf configuration and did not get anything.
I cannot login into my forum from joomla front page.
It redirects me to home page again.
Still I can login into the forum from forum front page but I do not need it at all.
May be I have to install additional plaginor module?
Need help, please.

Here is my joomla-smf configuration screenshot:

I don't know if J! 1.0.13 can connect with bridge joomlahacks. I read in this forum that it can be a problem.

I have the same problem.

If everyone know the solution to connect J!1.013 with bridge 2.0.2 please explain.

Thanks

Sorry for that I mean SMF 1.1.3
1.1.4 is only for testing at this moment and is not public Tongue

Please read the above answer Tongue and use the search option!!!!... This question is answered many times before and there is a special topic about this one. Use the 2.0.2.1 Bridge and not the old RC1

Hey! Superdaantje!
Do U visit your own nice forum, busy man?

I will duplicate here my qussion to U...   .

I would like to ask U one thing about bridge, sure if u do not mind... .

I have got a site right now and a forum, they stand alone and connected to each other just by link.
I'd like my users to login thru joomla site only, it means that I do not whant login panel on SMF forum at all.

Is it possible to make this miracle with joomla 1.0.13(Colormatic temp.), SMF 1.1.3 and the BRIDGE 2.0.2.1?
I spent so much time recently for nothing that have no strength to start again without knowing that the dream can come true... .

P.S. I like the look of your forum. Hope U'll have a lot of users soon.
