I´ve just changed the login form parameter in the component settings and that´s all. So it works perfect with the 1.0.12 patched index and Joomla 1.0.13!
hello onecha~, I have the exact problem you had. joomla 1.0.12, smf 1.1.3 and com_smf2021 (I also have cb installed)
After I subsituted my index file with the one from the 1.0.12 index patch, the site site not connect and gave back an Internal Internet Server error (500).
Hello again onecha. Thanks for your feedback. I wanted to quit... but the curiosity of finding out the solution was bigger. I tried it again, and patched with the same file you did... and it worked. Maybe the first time it was just a server error.
Anyway. It works now!. Now I only have to find out how to open the forum in a new window. The J smf component created automatically a link and it opens in the same window that joomla does... I would like to change that.
Hi, I didn't find anything in the jsmf component directly.
i created a new menu item (in joomla admin), chose link to component item (and the forum item appeared as an option) and there I could choose "Open in a new window".
