How to install Joomla - SMF integration?

I'm so confused. Does anyone have bluehost? Well i do and I installed joomla and smf in the same directory but how do i get to intall it on the same database and do i have to manuley add the tables? I'm so confused, could some one help me, or walk me through the steps to install and get it running?

i think its cleaner if you put SMF in a subfolder inside public_html

just enter the name of the Joomla DB when installing SMF, and keep the smf prefix to diferentiate which table is of each system
