2.0.2.1 doesn't work with joomla 1.1.13 (like the post says)
« on: August 20, 2007, 02:49:02 AM »

I removed my old bridge, and re-installed the 2.0.2.1 (said to be compatible with latest joomla) and it does not work.

I can login, but I still have to create an account on both systems.

I tried the same patch and same thing. But I am using the bridge for Coppermine also, so to answer someones question that is on Coppermines Bridge FAQ, No this bridge will not work with Joomla and Coppermine and SMF at the same time.

Guess one of them is going to have to go. Smiley

Bummer...contemplating vb sans-cms. This is why I choose to dump phpbb - lack of working features.

i have the same problem

i think somehow the joomla-smf configuration is not responding
with settings that i make.

i changed everything in the settings
and the outcome was always the same, one and only setting is not changing what ever i do to it...

i guess the settings isn`t saving correctly but how to fix this???

Think it is better for you to read the User Guide. This one is made for newbies of the Bridge Wink

Great...that fixed most of my problems, but I still have a problem -- I can only login one-way.

joomla -> forum (OK)
forum -> joomla (have to login again)

joomla is at domain.com/
smf is at    domain.com/forum

If I login to joomla first (homepage) my session carries over to the forum...vice-versa, and I have to login to the joomla.

Is it possible the cookies in the forum are path cookies?
