Hi forum,
first, my english isnt very well Sad
My problem:
I installed the smf-bridge 2.0.2, CBE-newest and SMF1.1.3
I changed my Joomla/Database complete to UTF-8.
Whit the unpatched index.php from Joomla the system runs good but white the patched index.php comes an error. lock at the picture.

I hope you understand my very bad english Smiley
What should i do?
I think its a problem white the ssi.php. if i uncomment the line in the source (index.php from joomla) then the letters are displayed right Smiley But i want to use the last postings modul and it dont run if i uncommend the line Sad

sorry ich kann dir nicht helfen aber der begriff UMLAUTS hat mich doch gerade sehr zum schmunzeln gebracht, danke dafür Wink)

Naja *gg* immerhin das wars mir wert Wink
Habe nun das Joomla! sowie das SMF auf latin1_general_ci.
Hätte ich das nur früher gewusst das es sooo einfach ist.

Please in English this is an international board or you can post your question in the German forums Wink

Not every one can Read or Write German. Wink

When the database are for J! and SMF UTF-8 then you can also check your template files. The also have to be UTF-8 and also your language files for J! and SMF.

You can find some useful topics on the forums. This is mentioned ins several topics
