How i can insert a link in a "contact us" component?

when people click on "contact us" - the standart joomla component

the "contact us" components opens and shows as you know the very standard things:

Address info
phone
fax
e-mail
business hours

BUT NOT AN OPTION FOR A LINK(clicable)

but i would like to have a clicable wesite link so a website will open up when they clcik there.
or maybe a direction link so when people click it will pop up map quest.

It is very strange that contact us module does not provide a field for website because almost every bussines has a website like in the regular paper bussines cards.

Dude... it could be me... But if they're on your site, why would they need the URL for your site?

If they didn't have your URL, they wouldn't see the "Contact Us" anyways...

In the "Contact Us" component, you can add multiple "contacts". I think what he wants is to able to add lots of contacts, and have a URL for those contacts. Sort of like a phone book style thing...

For example:

Or Click This Link To Go To Company A's Website

I could be wrong though. And in response to your question, I don't know of any way to this. You could use FacileForms to create Contact Forms but if you're wanting to create a lot of them, this could take a while and doesn't let your categorise them like the Contact Component does.

Also, isn't this in the wrong Forum?

you can make a clickable link in the Miscellaneous Info:
You have to use HTML code for this Wink
