It seems you can get insulted by the moderators on this board, but when you reply to them, they delete your response and make you look like the bad guy.

Please beware

Why would I want your support? I've just uninstalled your bridge.

However, your users need to know how you behave!

If you're going to delete and censor reasonable posts then it would be better to delete whole threads and be polite to the user in the process. We've all got to get along in this world, but given that I was simply requesting help after following your own procedures, I don't expect to get a rude response. I see you've already changed your original response to my help request from something slightly less rude.

God knows how you get donations with this attitude

Wow, such hostility towards Livebox who is generously donating his free time to provide a free service.  And you just ripped someone who doesn't receive any of the donations.  Way to say thanks for attempting to help.

I got your report to moderator email.  I wonder what the Joomla core team and SMF core team will say.  Did you email them yet?

In the end, your problem could have been solved by you reading the user guide but instead you choose to come here, post the same question that has been posted before, and then flame a moderator for telling you that the user guide is to guide the users such as yourself.  By not reading it you say screw you to my time and his which we have put into this project and writing that document.  I'd rather you just uninstalled the bridge and didn't post at all.

You see, as all the relevant posts leading to this impasse were deleted, any response is now meaningless and hence why I'm not going to qualify the above and retort. What would be the point given that my right to reply and my public answers were destroyed?

Sincere best wishes and good luck to any new team taking over what could be an excellent project!!!

Ian, though I only have a few more posts here than you, I've used this project, this component and this forum support since the mambohacks days. The gang at JoomlaHacks is providing this component FREE to us. It costs them to provide it, as time is money. They don't need to waste their time helping ungrateful people. They have spent so many hours helping those of us here, and I could find the answer to almost any question I've had over the years through a simple search on this forum.

Dude, this isn't a democracy, hell it isn't a political system. If they feel a post is inappropriate for their board, they can delete it. That is THEIR right.

Is that supposed to hurt their feelings?

We users know how they behave. That is why we have stuck around. Of course if you have uninstalled this bridge as you said, you probably won't read this. But I had to get it off my chest.

Livebox, Wolverine, Cowboy and all others involved past and present with JSMF, thank you.
