How to update SMF profile email after updating in Joomla?

I'm using JSMF 2.0.3 and SMF 1.1.3

When I update a user's email address in the Joomla User Manager, the change isn't reflected in the email address stored in SMF for the corresponding user.

How can I update SMF's email addresses?
