Problem with "insert quote"
« on: June 20, 2005, 08:12:55 PM »

Hello!
I've installed simple machine 1.0.4 with your bridge component. All works, but there is a problem in fast insert quote function. With SEF, like in this photo:

"h" letter in URL is not present.

without SEF, a windows is opened, but nothing succeed,

Note: that same problem there is in this forum. Try this.

This website is not using the latest version.
This issue is fixed in 1.3.1.3.

Are you using a 3rd party SEF component?

I'm not sure what causing your error. I'm suspecting compatibility issue with SEF404. I can look in this particular issue for the next release.

ok. i've disabled sef404, and so SEF in mambo's global configuration.

now... the link is formatted correctly... with "html", but on clicking, compare a window... and nothing do it.

Also the string conversion error, remain!

For security, i've installed from begin, a virgin mambo installation (4.5.2.3) and a virgin smf forum installation (1.0.4) with your bridge. Also here, the problems sussists.

At this point, i think that the problem is another. It could be depending on php.ini or .htaccess configuration?

thanks in advance...
and sorry, i'm italian. i hope that i've been clear!  Smiley
