joomla SMF change the background?

hey every 1
i just installed the bridge and im very new to this joomla thing but ive got a general grasp on it. its very good except for 1 thing

as you can see there the background is black and allot of the text cant be seen.  how do i change this to the normal white background or even better yet a light grey ?
