Problems with smf

Hi i jsut recently moved from php nuke over to joomla, seeking an intergrated forum i though the SMF bridge was a great way to do this.

Though i have been having issues, i managed to port all my 7,000 members from my php nuke site to smf, but noticed that they were only apearing on SMF and not joomla.

I then realised i did not patch the files right on installation, so i did that, but after clicking on syc users i get thsi error.

Failed:Error verifying user synchronization.: db_error:Table \'arbit3r_HDVG.smf_members\' doesn\'t exist SQL=SELECT count(*) FROM smf_members LEFT JOIN jos_users ON jos_users.username=smf_members.memb


Any help on this?

that table doesn't exist in the same database as joomla.  Either you have your smf prefix incorrect or the tables are not in the joomla db.

thanks for the help its all fixed, please keep up the good work, i can't stress this enough, its great to have people working for nothing thank you!

It was a problem with the prefix, i had it as smf_forum
