recent topics module request / mod
« on: March 20, 2007, 05:57:04 PM »

it would be nice if this was bit more configgable.
a) display the new msg icon or not
b) display the list marker or not
c) display topic & poster on same line or split, indent or not
d) max width of module

im not complaining, i love it as is, and i just hack it to pull out the icons.  im just saying, more options is better Smiley

thanks

You can set this all in the PHP file. Howto do this you can find on this forum.

I am also looking for more enhancements to this module before commiting to a joomla/smf install.

Something akin to the forum threads list I have on my current php-fusion powered site at the moment.  www.ozsource.org

I know editing the php file I could achieve similar, but the functionality of the current module is not comparible with the fusion one at the mo.

i know i can go in and manually hack it, that's what i do each release.  it just would be nicer to have more configabality.

im just a strong believer in letting the user config every possible option from the interface, instead of hacking the src.

if you don't want to add it, so be it, i'll keep doing it myself Smiley

thanks
