installing in same database....

Houston we have a problem! Ill get to the point..... I can install joomla and SMF no problem separetly. Installing them in the same database I get a problem. I install joomla first, no problems. I install SMF in the same database using the same prefix that was used with the joomla install. Correct so far? Once the table install for SMF the installer takes me to the next screen that asks for a admin username, password, email and for the database password. Just above that I get some sort of error that 2 tables may already exsist. No problem, I go ahead witht he install anyways. Says the install was succsessful.

Now I go and install the bridge. Install goes just fine. Checkmarks across the board, no errors.

I load my site and there are about one hundred lines of errors and my site at the bottom.

Coould someone help me out there or point me where to search these forums for similar problems, Ive searched with no luck
