Joke Module/Component

I just left Dragonfly for Joomla. What I am looking for is a module or component that I can use to serve up Jokes in specific categories. My thought, after not finding a stand alone mod is to modify a forum module putting Joke categories in the "Topics" place and jokes in the "new posts"...or...is there an easier method.
