Got a couple of problems driving me mad LOL
« on: March 01, 2007, 08:37:12 AM »

Using:-

JSMF 2.0.2
SMF 1.1.2
and Joomla 1.0.12

Previews to posts arn't working, they get stuck saying "Fetching preview" now I've searched for this and all I can find for this is it's fixed in version 2.0 so maybe something I've done wrong?

Second thing is how do I ban a user from both SMF and the site? if I ban on SMF then the user can still log into the site, in fact when the user log into Joomla, it unblocks the user.
If I block them in Joomla, the forum has no ban.
If I delete the user in SMF it deletes them from Joomla....

for the fetching preview, sounds like SMF headers didn't get applied to the Joomla headers.

For the banning, afaik there is no integration from SMF to ban a user.

Excellent, just unpatched and repatched and the preview seems to be ok now Smiley

Going back to this ban thing, is there any way I can stop people logging into the Joomla site AND the SMF forum other than deleting the account?

Should the spellcheck work? it did before I bridged SMF but doesn't now, it seems to give an entire front page in the popup window with the change text boxes in but nothing else....

PM popups, my forum is wrapped and these don't happen anymore, would one of the other PM systems that you can choose in the wrapper solve that?

A little bug seems to be when you click on "new" icon it takes you to correct message but slightly to far down but that could be a templating issue.

Nobody  Embarrassed

Erm so if the PM thing can't be fixed, how can my members be notified that they have a PM?

the Joomla-SMF login provides pop-up capability.  Not sure about others working or not.  I have another report of the spell check not working but I haven't had a chance to look at it yet.

I looked at the spell check problem and have a preliminary fix for it.  I'll be testing this week and try to get it included in the upcoming release.
